heavenly tunes.

When I started taking my walk with the Lord a bit more serious, one area of my life He began to convict me of is music. From the time I could remember, music had such an influence on my life. Jesus in Matthew 6:22 says that "the eye is the lamp of the body," and goes on to say in verse 23, if the body is full of darkness, "how great is that darkness. The same goes for what what we hear and receive into our minds and soul. The “ear gate” is another means in which the enemy will use to deceive. I would look back on my behaviors in the past and reflect on the music I would listen to and as I matured in my faith it all began to make sense. I truly believe that satan is playing a role when it comes to the influence of the music in this generation to keep people in mental bondage - or worse, to indulge in a life of sin ultimately leading to death (“When desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death” James 1:15). When I switched from secular music to purely faith-based music and began to fill my spirit with sounds and praises that glorified God I began to feel an inner change within me that began to break mental bondages, anxiety, fear, and worry. While at work I typically listen to these type of tunes and create playlists. Enjoy some of the linked playlists I created for your listening pleasure, and I pray it blesses you!
